Premiere Orlando- A must attend for salon owners

Premiere Orlando is the one largest salon beauty trade shows in the nation, with over 800 exhibiting companies and more than 440 professional education classes offered. Exhibitors introduce their products and tools, top salon professionals present new techniques and trends, while thousands of attendees come to take it all in.  Whether you are a salon or spa owner, stylist, colorist, nail technician or a cosmetology student, chances are you’re familiar with this annual event.

As a participating exhibitor at this year’s show, I had a chance to discuss the advantages and benefits of attending the event with several beauty industry professional attendees.

Below are my key takeaways from the show-


  1. Opportunity to make good connections


Beauty professionals, manufacturers, distributors and salon owners alike had a great opportunity to connect with one another over an electrifying atmosphere with a vibe of learning and development.  Exhibiting companies at the show invited attendees into their booth to try their products firsthand before they can buy them, which obviously creates connections.

The event is also a hub to connect, learn and network with other beauty salon and spa owners and specialists.  It is important to create these relationships to understand the industry’s success, failures and latest trends.  Many attendees create bonds with their peers that go far beyond the show floor.


  1. Keep up-to-date with industry trends


Most beauty professionals agree that “if you are not up-to-date, you are out-of-date!”  Clients want the latest products and styles.  Attendees will have a chance to learn how to make a difference and become their clients’ go to specialist!

Professionals and students are able to educate themselves about the industry trends from multiple resources all under one roof…they can engage in educational classes and hands on workshops – presented by top beauty industry professionals and participating companies – as well as visit the Main Stage, Hair Color Stage, and the exhibit floor.  The possibilities to learn about the latest industry trends are endless!


  1. Learn new ways to increase business


As a salon owner, the show was rich with learnings and take-aways on how to improve your local business. Keeping up-to-date on the industry trends is a great way to take leaps over your competition and keep your clients coming back over and over again.

It was a great learning experience for me personally and for me as a Welcomemat franchise owner.
