For the fourth year in a row, we are kicking off Small Business Season, which runs all month until Small Business Saturday on November 30. After all, local businesses deserve more than just one day of support this holiday shopping season!
In celebration, we are uncovering the best neighborhoods in America for small business support across the country. We narrowed a list of 500 communities down to 25 based on an algorithmic formula.
This year, scoring for the best neighborhoods was determined by factors such as:
Welcomemat response demographic data
Volume of new resident growth
Community vibe and commitment to shop local
Popularity and walkability of the neighborhood
Sense of community and family friendliness

25. NW Bradenton, Fl
This town has so much history to offer which you can soak up at their many museums, parks, and preserves. This historic city is home of the Village of the Arts, where residents can live & work in their homes. These cottages have been turned into studios, galleries, restaurants, and other small businesses.
24. Bothell, WA
This area in Seattle has many restaurants, coffee shops and parks for the neighborhood to enjoy. The riverfront community is great for outdoor lovers who enjoy natural beauty. What a place to thrive!
23. Park City, UT
This “perfect mountain town” is a great mix of luxury and comfort! Outdoor recreation is major in this community. Park City’s Historic Main Street offers live music, shops and great food.
22. Downington, PA
